Tips for Talking about Mental Health
Start by Journaling
Writing down your feelings and emotions help to identify negative thoughts and boost positive energy.
Write a Letter
Write a letter to someone, mentioning things you feel comfortable talking about. (It's your decision whether you want to give that letter to someone).
Practice speaking in front of a Mirror
Sometimes face-to-face conversations with someone about a sensitive topic can be intimidating. Try standing in front of a mirror and practice speaking.
Talk to someone you feel comfortable with
The first step to talk about mental health is to be comfortable about the topic. Finding someone you can rely on and trust is crucial.
