It is absolutely essential to prioritize mental health

No one should feel like they are alone in their mental health journey or without the resources and support they need.

The American Psychiatric Association believes that that knowing or having contact with someone with mental illness is one of the best ways to reduce stigma. Personally knowing someone who has a mental illness provides evidence against the rumors about having a mental illness.
